Design For Manufacturing (DFM) is a product development approach that focuses
on optimizing the design process to make manufacturing easier and more efficient.
The goal is to create designsthat are functional, aesthetically pleasing, cost-effective
and feasible for production. DFM involves considering manufacturing constraints and capabilities from the
beginning of the product design process.
